Oscars..my thoughts

Did anyone stay up to watch the Oscars last night? I sure did! I watched almost the entire thing. I heard the academy was going for a more entertaining show this year, I guess ratings in the last few years have not been that good. I would definately say that it was more entertaining than last year! I thought Hugh Jackman did a great job as host. Even thought it dragged it out just a little bit, I thought it was kinda cool what they did for the best supporting/lead actor/actress awards, how they got past winners to come out and say a little blurb about the nominess. I thought it made it more personal and made each person feel a little special.

Even though I didn't catch a glimpse of Leonardo Dicaprio, sexiest man alive, I was delighted to see Kate Winslet take the best actress award. I personally think she is one of the best actresses out there not to mention she has such style and poise. She looked absolutely beautiful in her dress not to mention her amazing hair! I can't say enough good things!

Of course the biggest winner of all was Slumdog Millionaire. If anyone has yet to see this movie, I suggest you see it ASAP. I happened to see it just a few days prior to the awards, and I really enjoyed it. I definately recommend it! Anyways sorry that I have not been posting much lately, sometimes its easy to get into a rut where you just don't know what to say.

I've finally got that ING account started and am getting my savings organized, as per my February goals. I will be writing about that soon!

I didn't watch but I was super happy to hear that Heath Ledger won. He was super amazing in that roll!

I have not seen Slumdog Millionaire yet. I'll have to see it now of course!

Congrats on starting your ING account. I love banking with them!

But he died right? Heath? I am not crazy in thinking that he died? Or am I thinking of someone else?
