Updates

Once again, sorry for my sporadic posting! Here are some random updates as to whats going on with me:

• I recently got a $10 paypal payment from Web Perspectives, and cashed out for a $50 cheque from Angus Reid forum. I know a lot of people think these sites are a waste of time, but I look at it like this: If I'm going to be spending time online anyways, might as well do a few surveys. Web Perspectives is starting to become my favourite. I get atleast one invite a day, sometimes 2-3. Some are only for a sweepstakes entry- I don't do those. Most of the other ones are like 200-400 points each. And 1000 points is $10 so it can add up fast. I think this is the 3rd time I have cashed out with them.

• I'm applying to write my PEBC (Pharmacy Examing Board of Canada) exam in Sept. The deadline is June 28th. I got my passpost photos taken(need them for application) , now all I have to do is get my boss to sign for my hours and I can mail it away. Cost of photos was $16 (Walmart incase you were wondering) and the cost of the application is $350! Yikes! I don't really want to have to take from my savings for this, but I think that is the best option considering the only other option is taking the money off my credit card.

• Ever since my computer crashed last year and my friends b/f had to re-install windows (with a bootleg copy) I no longer had a program that I could watch DVD's with :( Well I recently found one its called VLC media player. It's free, and it works great! I've been so content to lay in bed and watch Sex and the City! lol

• I recently bought a scrapbook when they were on sale for $5 at Michaels. Then I went through all my pictures on my computer and put some in a seperate folder to get printed. I also went through a big box of pictures and set aside the ones I wanted. Do you think I can find them now?! NOPE

• If any of you still have not discovered Frugal Girl's blog, you need to check it out. She has some great recipes! This past weekend I made Apple Pfannekuchen and Hot Fudge Pudding Cake. Both turned out so delicious!
