Swagbucks & Netflix

If you haven't heard of Swagbucks by now, you might be living under a rock. It's a site where you earn by points by using the search engine, doing surveys, etc. I used to be big on it a couple years ago and then for some reason I just kinda gave up on it. Recently I got back into it again. I have it as my home page now and use it every day. 

Last night I saw there was an offer for Netflix. If you have never used it before you can sign up for a new account and you get 855 Swagbucks!! Netflix is only $7.99 a month for unlimited use and you get the first month free. So you can try it for a month and if you don't think its worth it you can cancel after the first month. And you only have to go at least 3 days without cancelling to keep your Swagbucks, but who would cancel anyways when you have a month free?? 

So I did it. I signed up and got 855 Swagbucks. A $5 amazon.ca gift card is 450 swag bucks so thats just under enough points for $10. I already redeemed for a $5 gift card last week and I had 200 something more points still, so now I'm up to 1177 which is another $10 with a bit left over. 

I've watched my first Netflix movie today, Monte Carlo. It just happened to show up on the home page and I remembered seeing a preview for it before and I thought it looked cute. 

It was pretty good actually. Selena Gomez is adorable and I also love Leighton Meester as an actress, she does such a good job in Gossip Girl.
