Two good things happened for me financially this week. They are not huge, but every little bit helps right?
1. I got my GST cheque deposited into my account. I totally forgot it was coming so it was a welcome surprise. Thats $67.00 that I added to my savings account which brings my savings up to $1587.
2. I got a raise. Well everyone at my work did. We all got a "cost of living raise" of 33 cents an hour. BIG DEAL. It really wont make a HUGE difference but it will help a little bit. Considering I didn't see this coming and wasn't expecting a raise anytime soon since I just got one in March, it was also a welcome surprise!
