Cirque du Soleil

A couple weeks ago I went to see Cirque du Soleil with some co-workers. I have wanted to see them for a long time now, and when I heard they were coming to the area I had to go and didn't care who was coming with me.

It was absolutely amazing. I can't even really put it into words. The tickets were $100 and worth every penny. They were not the most expensive tickets, and not the cheapest ones either, just in the middle. When you are looking at the floor plan on the website, it seems like its a really big place and you feel like you wanna be as close as possible. But in reality the tent wasnt THAT big, it felt like no matter where you sat, you were close enough.

Inside the tent, before you go into the seating area there was a lot of places to get food. There was like popcorn and junk food type stuff, and there was also wraps, salads and sandwiches etc. So there was a good selection. There was also a lot of souvenirs to buy like keychains, books, cd's, dvds, decorative masks, bags, calendars etc.

The pictures in the post are from the actual show that we saw called OVO

These girls are from China and they were amazing. I think they were my favourite.

This guy on the tightrope was amazing and scary because there was no net to catch him if he should fall. When he brought out that unicycle thing you could the whole audience gasp and then hold their breath. lol

Anyways I cannot stress enough how amazing these people are. If they ever come to your town or within a few hours away, go for it! I am definately going again next time they are in the area.

I SO want to take my parents to see them while they're in town. But I don't think I can do $100 a pop. :( I'm glad you enjoyed it though. I am SO jealous!

This is the one thing I really wish we'd done on our road trip. We were in Vegas and everything!
