5 Movies I Could Never Get Sick Of

1. Sister Act

Delores: [prays] Bless us, oh Lord, for these Thy gifts which we are about to recieve. And yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of no food, I will fear no hunger. We want you to give us this day, our daily bread. And to the republic for which it stands, and by the power invested in me, I pronounce us ready to eat. Amen.

2. Corina, Corina

Manny Singer: Molly, why did you take my cigarettes? Answer me.
Molly: Corrina's husband went out for a carton of cigarettes and died. They all die. The TV said it.

3. Pretty In Pink

Iona: I know I'm old enough to be his mother, but when the Duck laid that kiss on me last night, I swear my thighs just went up in flames! He must practice on melons or something.

4. What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Gilbert: We don't really move. I mean, we'd like to, but... my mom is sort of attached to the house. Attached is, I guess, not the right word. She's pretty much wedged in.

5. Breakfast At Tiffanys

Holly Golightly: I'm like cat here, a no-name slob. We belong to nobody, and nobody belongs to us. We don't even belong to each other.

My Favourites Things #3: BB Cream

Any beauty junkie knows that Asia is so much more advanced than us when it comes to makeup ( and..well, everything). Case in point: BB Cream. It is supposed to be like a concealer, foundation, moisturizer, primer, SPF all in one. Your probably thinking how is that possible? I find most products that claim to be 3-in-1, 4-in-1 etc don't measure up. Until I tried this! I had read a lot about this stuff from various beauty blogs and decided to get me some. Now, unless you live in a big city with a "china town" this is kinda hard to find so you will have to order online. I got mine off of Ebay. I think I only paid like $10-$13 for 30mL. (Notice the cheaper price compared to many lines in Canada).

A little goes a long way with this stuff and the weird part is it comes out of the tube so dark and really not attractive and you think this is not going to work, but it does! It blends right into your skin even though it looked so dark to begin with. I don't use this every day but when I do I just squeeze a bit onto my finger and rub it in just like I am applying moisturizer ( although I still use my regular moisturizer). Then I still use a bit of concealer on blemishes and under the eyes, then just a bit of powder and I am good to go.

I bough 2 different ones off ebay but the one that I prefer and have been using is Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in #23. I am really impressed with it and I really want to check out various other Asian beauty products in the future!

My Favourite Things #2 - Houndstooth

I have a secret love of anything Houndstooth. This is a picture of a purse I have from Aldo. I think it was about $40 plus tax. I loved it so much, I brought it everywhere. You can't see it in this picture but I spilled a bit of hot chocolate on it once and there is a small stain. :(

I would love to own a coat like this someday:

It's such a statement piece, don't you think?

My Favourite Things #1 - The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter

I'm not sure why, but I'm pretty much in love with anything with a cherry blossom scent. I think it stems from my love of the book Memoirs of a Geisha. Lol, weird I know.

Anyways I actually got this about two summers ago and it was my first body butter from the Body Shop! They had already been around for a long time at this point but I wasn't really into spending $20 for a body lotion. Well, I finally caved after seeing this one, not sure if it was the scent or the pretty packaging or a combination of both that made me want to get it. A little goes a long way but I still can't believe I've been using this for almost two years! Just a few months ago, I finally hit the bottom of the tub! This is the first lotion of any kind that I've ever "hit the pan" on, so to speak.

Once this is done I am definately going in search of another cherry blossom scented one. But we have a Bath and Body Works in our mall now, so I think I might check out what they have this time.
