Tuesday Rambling

Today was my day off and I got my day started with some hot yoga! This time the class I went to was more difficult than usual. It was at a faster pace with the poses flowing into one another. I believe they call this hatha yoga? I did have to stop a few times but it was still a great workout and I definitely felt like I shed a few pounds in sweat alone!!

I also did some grocery shopping so no more buying food out of the house for the rest of this week! (Well except for dinner out with my department that we have planned for this Sunday). After yoga I came home and checked the mail and this is what I got:

It's my package from SampleSource! Just like the P&G Brandsampler, you go online and pick the samples you want and they send you the package in a few weeks time. In this package:

At 60ml this is a generous sample and I'm pretty excited to try it because I've seen other bloggers rave about it but I have yet to try it!

-Jergens coupons: $2 off natural glow product and $2 off any Jergens product

- not in picture: Schick hydro silk razor (came with coupons as well) 

Overall I'm really satisfied with my samples! I can't wait until the next round!

After getting home I've been mostly laying around watching Gilmore Girls and Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns, and I'm about to watch Glee next! (such a guilty pleasure Glee is). Hope you're all having a fabulous Tuesday!

P&G Samples!

I got my latest batch of P&G Samples in the mail! This one was pretty good! I don't even remember when I signed up for it, it takes so long to ship I forget about it, and then when it comes its a little surprise.


This is what was in it:

As you can see from the picture some of the samples are quite generous! I just love getting mail!

Nestle Carnation Breakfast Sample

A few weeks ago I signed up online for a Nestle Carnation Breakfast sample. I forget where it was otherwise I would give you the link! So I got it in the mail today! I got: a pack of the powder that you mix with milk, a notepad where you can write grocery lists, etc and a coupon for $4.00 off the purchase of any Nestle Carnation Breakfast product! Nice to know this sample actually came! I can't think of how many other samples I signed up for that just didn't come.

Oh and p.s. I also got my cheque in the mail from Blue Cross, from my prescriptions that I mentioned in the previous post. yay! :)

A chance to win beauty products!

I got my Elle magazine in the mail the other day and I got a few unexpected freebies, including 2 sample strips of Listerine Quick Dissolving Whitening Strips. I have tried the Crest Whitestrips before but never these ones. I am curious to see how they work. They came with a coupon for $3.00 off too! And it doesnt expire until 2010, which is great considering I have a few boxes left of the Crest ones which I got for free. I also got a large sample of Garnier Fructis Instant Metling hair mask.

Now on to the real reason for this post, the Elle 2009 Beauty Grand Prix! Basically the beauty grad prix is a panelist of readers who will test out various skin, makeup and hair care products and and rate them. If you get picked they send you all these products and you just test them out and you could possibly have your opinions in the magazine! They are going to be picking 750 Elle Canada readers, and I sure hope to be one of them!

Confirmed Freebie!
